Coronavirus outbreak: Chinese president appreciates Bangladesh PM’s letter

Chinese President Xi Jinping has appreciated the support of Bangladesh government towards the East Asian country when the country is in a battle against the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has appreciated the support of Bangladesh government towards the East Asian country when the country is in a battle against the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

Jinping expressed his appreciation for Bangladesh's friendly sentiments in a letter sent to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday, Dhaka Tribune reported.

The letter is the reply of Hasina's one in which she expressed deep condolences for the loss of lives following the outbreak of coronavirus in Wuhan city and other places in the People's Republic of China.

The prime minister's message was conveyed in the letter sent to the Chinese president on February 13.
