Stewart Beck, Ambassador for Canada to Nepal, will lead a Canadian business mission to Nepal from July 24 to 26. The delegation will focus on energy, water/waste water and aviation sectors. The purpose of the visit is to explore commercial opportunities in the above sectors and to gain a deeper understanding of the priorities of the current Nepalese government.
On the eve of his departure for Nepal, Ambassador Beck said: “Canada and Nepal have a long history of friendship and close collaboration. This visit is an opportunity for Canadian and Nepalese companies to better understand what each has to offer. Our meetings represent an important step towards greater business partnership between our two countries.”
During the visit of the business delegation, a series of meetings with government officials and private sector leaders have been planned to present Canadian capabilities in the energy, water/waste water and aviation sectors, among others, and to discuss potential business opportunities.
The delegation will comprise representatives of the following Canadian companies:

2. Bell Helicopter
3. Clearford Industries
4. Hatch
5. SNC Lavalin
6. Export Development Canada
