Since last May, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been on 16 international trips and, by May 26, when he completes a year in office, he would have visited as many as 19 countries in 12 months, his visits spanning Canada to Fiji, US to the upcoming one in China.
The Society for Policy Studies (SPS) will be releasing this week a Policy Brief: A year of Modi's foreign policy as part of its Briefs on contemporary issues. It will be authored by a former Indian Ambassador and will look critically at the diplomatic, political and economic dimensions of the Modi foreign policy and whether and how much it has deviated from the foreign policy orientation of previous governments and the direction it could take.
This policy Brief, of about 10,000 words, with supporting annexures, will be a very useful document for diplomats and India watchers. The Brief would be priced at Rs 5,000.
