India approves agreement with Maldives on agribusiness

NEW DELHI: The Indian Cabinet on Wednesday accorded ex post facto approval to an agreement between the Agriculture Ministry and the Maldives Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resource and Agriculture.
The agreement was signed in December 2018 during the State visit of Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to India.
The Memorandum of Understanding for establishing mutual cooperation aims to improve the ecosystem for agribusiness and agricultural research.
