Japanese students showcase Indian saris, textiles and jewellery at fashion show

Students of Bunka Fashion College, one of the top fashion institutions in Tokyo, showcased Indian textiles and jewellery at their annual fashion show that was attended by over 20,000 people.

Students of Bunka Fashion College, one of the top fashion institutions in Tokyo, showcased Indian textiles and jewellery at their annual fashion show that was attended by over 20,000 people. 
 
They also showcased Indian handloom textiles and Odissi dance costumes, silver filigree items and Indian cultural books at the exhibition space.   The saris, jewellery and exhibition items were given by Mudra Foundation (www.mudrafoundantion.com), headed by Japanese Odissi dancer Masako Ono, who is professionally based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. 
 
The theme was "EN", which means organic connection/celebration

The show and exhibition attracted more than 20,000 people in three days November 2-4.
