At least 10 police were killed in two separate incidents in Zabul province on Monday, local officials said.

Amir Jan Alkozai, district governor for Shinkai district, said that two blasts killed six police and wounded two others.

Meanwhile, security forces in Shahr-e Safa district said that an insider attack killed four police and their checkpoint was taken by the Taliban.

Security forces in Zabul said that the Taliban arrested three men for spying in the Ghbarga area of Qalat city of Zabul and then killed them, but the Taliban have not commented yet.
