China's Alibaba Foundation and Jack Ma Foundation have donated 20,000 COVID-19 testing kits to Sri Lanka, in a bid to scale up testing on the island.

The donation valued at 129,011 dollars had been made to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, by the representatives of the foundations, the Prime Minister’s Office said.

These goods had arrived in the country last Friday.
