Another 163 Sri Lankan students repatriated from India
Sri Lanka’s national carrier, SriLankan Airlines operated another special to bring back Sri Lankans stranded in Mumbai, India following the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
Colombo: Sri Lanka’s national carrier, SriLankan Airlines operated another special to bring back Sri Lankans stranded in Mumbai, India following the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
SriLankan Airlines flight UL144 left Bandaranaike International Airport at Katunayake at 9:10 am Saturday and the flight carrying 163 Sri Lankan students arrived this afternoon.
The 163 students too have been sent to quarantine centers following the Health Ministry guidelines and procedures.
The government has taken measures to bring students stranded in several countries due to the pandemic to the island during the past few days.
