The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has donated IT equipment to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) and Maldivian Courts under its grant assistance program.

JSC on Thurrsday said UNDP donated a large amount of IT equipment needed to carry out trials, and licensed versions of Office 365, in addition to other equipment to enhance the services provided by JSC in a modern way.

The commission said the donation would enhance the conduction of hearings online, and that the challenges faced by the JSC would be eliminated.
