Sri Lankans who were unable to return the country and remain stranded overseas will be repatriated from next week, said the Foreign Ministry on Saturday (17).

At present the repatriation process of Sri Lankans remains suspended due to the growing number of COVID-19 cases in the country.

The Foreign Ministry said, however, cargo planes which are scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka are also used to accommodate those who wish to be repatriated.
