Responding to the concerns raised by the Information Commissioner’s office, the ministry only stated that the Indian Military operates two helicopters and stays for other purposes, and refused to give more details.
A media outlet had requested the ministry to reveal the exact number of Indian Military personnel present in the Island nation and the expenditure incurred by the government on them.
