Nepal's Supreme Court has formed a five-member constitutional bench under Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana to hear the writ petitions filed against the government for House dissolution.
Justices Bishwambhar Prasad Shrestha, Tej Bahadur KC, Anil Kumar Sinha and Hari Krishna Karki comprise the bench that will begin the hearings Friday.
The bench is expected to pronounce verdict on the government’s move to dissolve the House of Representatives on December 20.
