A YouTuber, who manhandled and intimidated several women outside a university for not wearing dupattas (scarf) has been arrested in Gujranwala of Pakistan’s Punjab province.

Khan Ali would go up to random women outside a university in Gujranwala and attempt to pay them to wear a dupatta.

"You must tell your mothers, sisters and daughters to wear a dupatta. This isn't a prank, this is a message," he would say in Punjabi as part of his video titled 'Dopatta loo Prank part 2' that makes liberal use of the word prank to harass women.

"These girls aren't going to listen but I'm going to make them listen,” he was seen saying in his video.

In the video, he would ask women to wear a dupatta and when they attempted to walk away, he would pull their arms.

When they  got angry and asked who he is to tell them what to wear, Khan would shout "I am a Pakistani Muslim!"

No one found it funny, neither the women who were harassed nor social media users.

In the video, Khan would physically assault the women in an attempt to get their attention, Dawn reported.

In one instance, he approached a woman and her young daughter, offering Rs 500 for the mother and Rs 500 for the daughter to wear dupattas. The daughter literally cowered behind her mother and they kept shifting around, trying not to get cornered by Khan.

The Gujranwala police arrested him after many objected on social media at his behavior and posted a tweet of Khan in handcuffs being led by a woman police officer.
