The 45th edition of the International Kolkata Book Fair, to be held in July this year, will be dedicated to Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and Bangladesh will be the country-in-focus of the event, said the organisers.
The dates for the fair, to be held at Central Park in Salt Lake in the eastern part of Kolkata city, are still being worked out, said the organisers of the event Publishers and Booksellers Guild yesterday, reports our New Delhi correspondent.
Since 2021 is Mujib Borsho and also the 50th year of the independence of Bangladesh, the theme country for this year's fair is Bangladesh.
