Colombo (News1st): Health officials on Wednesday confirmed that the number of COVID – 19 patients in the country has risen to 188.

This was after three people who had maintained contact with a patient from Ratnapura tested positive for the virus.

Government statistics show that there are 140 active cases in the country, with the number of recoveries standing at 42.

Sri Lanka has six confirmed deaths due to COVID – 19.
