Members of Myanmar Navy have picked up 20 fishermen in four boats from the Bay of Bengal while they were fishing near St Martin's Island in Cox's Bazar.
The incident took place in Sitapahar area of the Bay of Bengal around 11am on Wednesday.
The fishermen are all residents of Shahparirdwip. However, the names and addresses of the fishermen were not immediately available, said Mohammad Nurul Amin, UP member of ward 8 of Sabrang union
