US special presidential envoy for climate John Kerry and Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen discussed cooperation to deal with climate issues on Tuesday over phone.

"Yes, they had a nearly 27-minute discussion," a senior official confirmed after the phone call in the evening, saying they had broad discussions on issues of mutual interest.
 
Dr Momen said former senator Kerry is a dynamic person with vision and they have known each other for a long time.
