The second term of schools in the Maldives for 2020 will commence in January 2021 and end in June.
The academic calendar published by the Education Ministry today shows that the first term of 2020, will end in December 2020 and that the second term is to commence on January 12 and end on June 24.
The academic year for 2021 will commence on August 10, 2021. The delays are due to the spread of COVID-19 in the Maldives.
