Eight Nepali cricketers have been recommended for the initial draft of the auction for the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL).
The IPL is a Twenty20 cricket tournament held among various clubs in India. Nepali leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane, who had been with the Delhi Capitals for three seasons, is now released by the club and is free to join any of the clubs in the tournament.
According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), names recommended for the IPL 2021 include Dipendra Singh Aiyer, Binod Bhandari, Karan KC, Sompal Kami, Sharad Bheshwakar, Avinath Bohara and Kushal Malla, along with Lamichhane.
