South Asia Monitor (SAM) is a unique platform that brings you informed perspectives from the most astute  thinkers and practitioners from government, diplomatic networks, academia, media and business. In a political climate where information and news about  the subcontinent is increasingly ideologically coloured and political discussions are dominated by loud television debates, SAM provides a fresh and persuasively reasoned perspective on news and policies that are shaping South Asia today.

SAM is a platform of the Society for Policy Studies (SPS), a not-for-profit organization, free of corporate or political interests, run by former media leaders, retired diplomats and military veterans, with a shared  interest in policy deliberations, regional issues  and an informed analysis of strategic affairs.

We welcome financial contributions, however small, from our readers to support the running of the platform and its skeletal staff. Your contributions will directly benefit the quality of information and analysis we are able to curate and share.

Donations are eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act. Currently we can only accept donations from India in INDIAN RUPEES.

If you are making a direct bank transfer, please mail sameditor.sps@gmail.com with your full name, phone number, the donation amount and the transaction ID so that we can acknowledge and thank you personally for your support.
