Nepal on Saturday reported 17 more COVID-19-related fatalities, pushing the death toll to 1,087. The country also recorded 2,753 new cases.

The overall national infection tally has reached 191,636 with 35,435 active cases.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,206 infected people recovered in the past 24 hours.
