Celebrated Indian Bharat Natyam and Kuchipudi dancer, activist and occasional actor Mallika Sarabhai has just released her memoir ‘In Free Fall: My Experiments with Living”. The book offers a compelling glimpse into the lives of one of India’s most consequential families, the Sarabhais of Ahmedabad, and with that as the backdrop, into the life of Mallika Sarabhai.

To get a flavor of what that that part bohemian but fully urban liberal artistic life has been, Mayank Chhaya Reports spoke to Dr. Sarabhai, who holds a Ph.D. in organizational behavior.
