Although the curfew will be lifted tomorrow (09), only the essential staff of the public service will be called to work.
Although the curfew currently in effect in the Western Province will be lifted tomorrow (09), the Ministry of Public Service and Local Government has stated that considering health safety only the minimum number of staff required to perform duties in public institutions should be called for work.
Secretary to the Ministry JJ Ratnasiri said the heads of institutions should decide on the minimum number of staff to be called and the rest of the staff should perform their duties from home as they are currently doing.
