With the identification of 10 people infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus, it has been decided to close the Beruwala fisheries harbor until further notice, its management said.

It has been reported that 10 lorry drivers and their assistants who were transporting fish from the Beruwala fishing harbor to the Peliyagoda fish market have contracted COVID-19 virus.

This was revealed during the PCR tests conducted on 100 persons at the Beruwala fishing harbor premises yesterday.
