The government has received the cabinet approval at the Cabinet Meeting held on 1st April 2020 to obtain a loan of up to US $ 400 million from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the implementation of results based programs.
The government has decided to use the financial assistance from the ADB for the development of the quality of secondary education in government schools
