Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa told parliament today that the government will allow the burial of the bodies of those who died due to COVID infection.

Responding to a question from Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP, S. M. Marikkar, Prime Minister Rajapaksa told parliament that burial of bodies of COVID infected will be allowed.

Responding to a question raised by Parliamentarian Rohana Bandara, State Minister Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle yesterday stated that the COVID virus is not transmitted through water.
