Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday said he has been possibly exposed to suspected COVID-19 cases and hence he has decided to conduct his engagements in London in the virtual mode. He said he will follow similar measures in his G7 engagements as well.

" Was made aware yesterday evening of exposure to possible Covid positive cases. As a measure of abundant caution and also out of consideration for others, I decided to conduct my engagements in the virtual mode. That will be the case with the G7 Meeting today as well,"  Jaishankar tweeted, according to IBNS.

This followed revelation by British media that certain members of this delegation had tested positive for the coronavirus. India, along with South Korea and Australia, have been invited as special guests to the G7 foreign ministers' meeting in London.
