Italian tourists highest in terms of 2020 tourist arrivals to Maldives

Tourism Ministry has stated that the highest number of tourist arrivals to the Maldives in 2020 were from Italy

Tourism Ministry has stated that the highest number of tourist arrivals to the Maldives in 2020 were from Italy.

Statistics published by the ministry today show that the Maldives had recorded 45,169 tourists from Italy, amounting up to 11 percent of the total number of tourist arrivals so far in 2020.

The figure is inclusive of the tourist arrivals after the Maldives reopened its borders on July 15.
