Nepal has confirmed 2,817 new cases of COVID-19 and of them 1,166 are females and 1,651 are males.

Of the total national tally of 194,453 COVID-19 cases, 64,835 are females while 129,618 are males. This means 33 per cent of the infected are women and 67 per cent males.

The Kathmandu Valley has continued to witness the increasing cases of COVID-19 and on Sunday, it recorded 1,533 among 2,817 new cases confirmed from across the country.
