Take Heed, O Lord, Thou Art Yourself in Danger

Things, O Things, all cluttered around
The mind too in an awful bind,
Why do we surround ourselves
With things that we leave behind.

Flying carpets, Magical lamps
A Paradise on Earth,
Do we not place our trust in God
‘Tis no longer a matter of mirth.

There’s a bizarre conjunction of cyclical stars
An unseen, demonic,hand,
Who is contriving this devastation
Is not so easy to understand.

So infinite is the greed of Man
His hunger and thirst beyond need
Mephistopheles, holds the sway today
God, himself, in danger, better take heed!

Tragedies, always unfold a story
In very slow and measured numbers,
Those who fail to read the writing
Rudely awakened, from their slumbers.

Go back to your roots, O Man
Save yourself and the others,
No foes, no enemies, no adversaries
It’s a world of Sisters and Brothers.

Take heed , O Lord, thou art yourself in Danger.
