Seven Indians were featured in the recently released list of Young Global Leaders of 2021 by the World Economic Forum (WEF). From South Asia, ten people made it to the list.
From Bangladesh, former cricket team captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza; Maleekha Bokhari, who is a parliamentary secretary for Pakistan’s Ministry of Law and Justice is featured on the list. Nirvana Chaudhary, the managing director for Chaudhary Group, from Nepal, made it to the list.
Each year, the Forum of Young Global Leaders goes through a rigorous selection process to identify, select and commemorate remarkable leaders under 40 who come from different communities and industries worldwide.
Srikanth Bolla, an Indian industrialist and the founder of Bollant Industries, also featured in the list. He was also the first international blind student to get into the brain, cognitive science and business at MIT.
Aditi Awasthi, the founder and chief executive of Embibe India; Gazal Kalra, Shreevar Kheruka, Ameya Prabhu, Hriday Ravindranath, and Hitesh Wadhwa are other Indians on the list.
