Sri Lanka's Covid-19 cases touch 70

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Sri Lanka has risen to 70, Minister of Health, Pavithra Wanniarachchi said

Colombo: The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Sri Lanka has risen to 70, Minister of Health, Pavithra Wanniarachchi said.

The number of confirmed cases in the Gampaha district now stands at 18, while 17 cases are confirmed in the Colombo district while 12 cases reported from Puttalam district.

Kurunegala and Kalutara districts, each, have reported 4 confirmed COVID-19 cases, while 3 are reported from the Ratnapura district.

The remaining confirmed COVID-19 cases are from the Galle, Matara, Kegalle, Batticaloa and Badulla districts.

Three foreign nationals are also among the confirmed COVID-19 patients.
