Bagerhat: Three Bangladeshi sailors with mild fever have been kept under close observation at a foreign ship at Mongla Port in Bagerhat.
According to the port authorities, the coal-laden foreign ship docked in the Harbaria area of the port on Wednesday night, The Independent reported.
As part of the regular practice to avoid the spread of novel coronavirus, a medical team entered the ship to screen the crew members, said Sufia Khatun, health officer of the port.
“The three crew members were found with body temperature above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. We asked them to remain inside their rooms,” she said, adding that two of them had normal body temperature when they were tested again on Thursday morning.
