    Accused of sedition, promoting enmity and criminal conspiracy, the arrest of a young climate activist, Disha Ravi by Delhi police, has created a storm including support from Greta Thunberg. Disha is charged of manicuring the foreign hand stirring up trouble against the government — specifically of having edited a so-called toolkit, a document supporting the farmers’ agitation and ways to mobilise support for it. The study examines if this is technological illiteracy; whether the government is imagining a ‘global conspiracy where none exists’; critical issues, including the role of judiciary, that arise;  a critique on MEA’s response to celebrity activism;
