First group this year of Sri Lankan workers leave for South Korea

The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) said the first batch of 22 workers returning to South Korea for employment in the year 2021 left for South Korea this morning (21) on a special charter flight KE 9474.
The workers left for Korea 48 hours after undergoing PCR tests. South Korean authorities are set to direct the Sri Lankan workers to respective work places after a 14-day quarantine.
All foreign workers entering South Korea must install on their mobile phones an app issued by the country’s health services and update their details during their quarantine period.
