A protest march started from Pottuvil by the Tamil political parties and civil society organizations in the North and East against the alleged repression of the Tamil people concluded Sunday.
The five day march started from Pottuvil town in Ampara district in the Eastern Province on 3rd February continued from Batticaloa to Mullaitivu, Vavuniya, Kilinochchi and Jaffna reached Point Pedro with a large crowd.
Protesters lit lamps in front of the Mullaitivu Mullivaikkal War Memorial and reached Vavuniya via Nedunkerni.
