The Administration of the Jaffna University has decided to suspend the classes for 7 senior students who brutally assaulted a group of freshman students during ragging.
Six freshmen of the Jaffna University were injured when a group of senior students assaulted new students on several occasions on 2020-10-08 and 12 senior students were charged in connection with the incident.
The report of the investigation conducted by the Jaffna University Student and Disciplinary Committee headed by Prof. Nandakumaran was released yesterday and seven senior students were found guilty.
