The Sri Lankan government is considering establishing diplomatic relations with the state of Lichtenstein, the wealthy landlocked country in the Europe.

Lichtenstein is considered as one of the wealthiest countries in the world with higher industrial capability and manufacturing mainly the medical drugs, subtle correction equipment and electronic equipment.

The gross domestic product of Lichtenstein during the previous year had been USD 5.8 billion and per capita income had been USD 143,700 approximately.
