Amid the rise in COVID-19 deaths and infections, the number of dengue cases are also seeing an uptick in the country, especially in Dhaka this month.

Twenty new dengue patients were hospitalised in 24 hours until this morning -- all of them in Dhaka -- according to the Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room under the Directorate of Health.
