COVID-19 vaccination would start from the first week of February in Bangladesh.

The government said the first instalment of the Oxford-AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine from Serum Institute of India (SII) would arrive by January 25.

For getting vaccinated, people would have to register with an app that would be opened to them on January 26, said officials of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
