Amb. Shyam Saran, Senior Fellow, Centre for Policy Research & former Foreign Secretary, Government of India Chaired the proceedings.

Marking the 100th year of its journey in promoting academic research on matters related to Asia and Africa, the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London hosted its 'Centenary and Campaign Celebrations' in New Delhi on January 17, 2017 with the Society for Policy Studies (SPS) as its local partner.

The “AMATES” exhibition will be on display daily from January 17th – February 16th, 2017

It will also feature glimpses of Indian traditional, folk and tribal art such as Gond, Madhubani and Pattachitra paintings.
