Re-imagine India-China relations: China scholar Ravi Bhoothalingam

“India and China should re-imagine their relations primarily through psychological engagement,” said Ravi Bhoothalingam, an eminent scholar and Honorary Fellow at the Institute of China Studies, New Delhi.  This interesting perspective on India-China relations was put forth during the Changing Asia Series lecture organised by the India Habitat Centre and the Society for Policy Studies (SPS) on “Why India and China matter to each other”. 

'A healthy nation necessary for economic development'

Health of the citizens and the economy of the nation they inhabit go hand in hand and every buck spent on former guarantees a manifold increase in the latter,  said noted public health expert K Srikant Reddy. The lecture 'Health and Development: India Must Bridge the Disconnect' was part of the Changing Asia lecture series organised by the India Habitat Centre and the Society for Policy Studies (SPS).
