At least seven civilians, including women and children, were killed and six more were wounded in a “Taliban” mortar attack in the northeastern city of Kunduz on Wednesday evening, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said in a statement.
The incident happened in Taloka area in the city of Kunduz where a mortar hit "civilian houses," the statement said. The statement did not provide further details.
The Taliban has not commented about the incident.
