China has given over 200 mobile oxygen concentrators to Pakistan, amidst fears that Covid-19 cases could rise during the Eidul Azha holidays later this month.

The oxygen concentrators were handed over to the chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Lt Gen Akhtar Nawaz by China’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong at a ceremony on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the NDMA chairman thanked the government of China for donating the oxygen concentrators.

Nong said China-Pakistan relations were growing stronger over time, Dawn reported.
