Bahrain and the UAE have offered help to India in their fight against the deadly second wave of COVID-19.

Bahrain’s Cabinet on Monday expressed the country’s support to India’s fight against COVID-19, extending sincere condolences to the government and citizens of India following the deaths of COVID-19 patients, the Bahrain News Agency reported as quoted by Saudi Gazette.

In the weekly meeting held remotely and chaired by Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, who is also the country’s prime minister, the Cabinet decided on sending medical equipment and oxygen to India to support its fight against COVID-19, reports Saudi Gazette.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has affirmed his confidence in the ability of the Republic of India to overcome the challenging circumstances triggered by the resurgence in Covid-19 cases, reiterating the UAE's full support for and solidarity with the friendly country amidst the challenging health situation it is reeling under, reports Khaleej Times.
