Positivity
Unnerving, the wait
Unnerving, the wait
From jab to result
But, there is no choice
So, wait we must.
If it’s an “N”, I’ll dance on the grass, I will
If it’s a “P” I shall dance in my room,
If its one or the other but, somewhat out of sync
I shall call for a re-test, to despatch the gloom.
It’s a tragi- comedy, this wait is
Apprehension, has been coined by the Astrologers,
Just as, Life and it’s parts and it’s little pieces
Is the work of the Master Philosophers.
To nip in the bud is very wise, indeed
Or else, you may need to fell a tree,
Take precautions we must and all due care
And, keep ourselves from the Pandemic, free.
Devil-May-Care is a lovely attitude
But, not when we know the Devil’s around,
Lurking in every nook and corner, and
Silently, spreading terror minus the sound.
An adversary who’s, stealthily, astute
And, leaves no traces behind,
A Spy of some sort, who gets us unaware
We need to tackle with a positive mind.
Getting down and out is not going to help
Nor will running away some place,
We need to act and sensibly, to beat the rising enemy
Properly masked and, cleverly, win the race.
This is not a battle that any one can win, alone
Hermitages are not the panacea,
We’re all in it together each one doing their bit
Must keep our hearts and minds, well lit.
Let no darkness nor shadows fall
Each night does, forever, a Dawn greet,
Positivity of mind and thought is a must, Ashok
Whatever the challenges that you, in your life, ever meet.
