Since we don’t know why we are here
Let’s do what the the Heaven we like,
Leave Hell out of the equation, and
Occasionally, sensibly, within reason
Light a gentle fire, let desire spike!

Avoid excess in any form
A rather obnoxious norm
I concede, but why not hold
The hand of a balmy breeze
Why, that of a tempestuous storm!

Why in Seas, knowingly, drown
Why wear the wrinkled, ugly, frown
Why not a pretty, simple, smile
What use the flash or the majestic Crown?

The Crown, too, must someday wonder
Why on the Head, why am I not under
Somewhere, between or around the teeth
Why are we witness to constant blunder!

‘No Kings’, they say, some place now
But where there aren’t any, any how !
Funny, Chaotic, Despotic, World
Who jumped over the Moon
Wasn’t it the Cow ?

Men, today, are wild Bulls not Matadors
Shooting, Killing, doing incidental chores,
Mammon and the Gun are great fun
To hell with tradition and societal mores!

Sermons, Soliloquys, friends, are a bloody bore!
