Iconic Bengali poet Shankha Ghosh, who had tested positive for COVID-19, died on Wednesday.
He was 89.
Ghosh had reportedly tested positive a few days ago.
He was under medical treatment at home, IBNS said. .
A poet and a critic, Ghosh had won a number of awards including Jnanpith Award in 2016.
