Sri Lanka Embassy in Oman and the Export Development Board of Sri Lanka (EDB) jointly organized a B2B virtual meeting between manufacturers of fiberglass and acrylic products of the two countries.

Al Hilal Fiber & Acrylic Industry LLC, a popular manufacturers of fiberglass & Acrylic finished products in Oman, and the Sri Lankan Companies namely, Neil Fernando & Co. (Pvt) Ltd, Danusha Group of Companies, Northwest Marine (Pvt) Ltd and Sealanie Boat Yard (Pvt) Ltd. participated in the webinar.

Opening the B2B webinar meeting Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Sultanate of Oman Ameer Ajwad highlighted that Sri Lanka and Oman have prioritized manufacturing sector in their economic diversification drive and that there is enormous potential for collaboration between Sri Lankan and Omani companies in manufacturing fiberglass products including different types of boats.
