The Government of Sri Lanka has decided to reject the report by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, said Minister Udaya Gammanpila on Wednesday (03).

Sri Lanka has already responded to the report in writing and it will be made public when Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunwardena addresses the UN Human Rights Council.

The report was prepared in violation of the mandates given via UN Human Rights Council’s landmark resolutions 30/1 & 40/1, said the Minister.
