Male: Six new cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have emerged in the Maldives.

The reveal was made via Twitter, by the Health Protection Agency (HPA) on Monday evening.

As such, among the six new cases are one Bangladeshi, one Pakistani and four Maldivians.

With this development, the case count total of 220 confirmed cases in the island nation.
